Discovering a Better Way
Not so long ago, I was just like most of the real estate investors I know who were trying to make some money.

My goals originally were to pick up a handful of rental properties that cash flowed and slowly but surely start paying down those mortgages to build up a nice passive stream of income that I could rely on. I was plodding along using strategies that are often easier said than done. My time was not my own and the results were far from ideal.

 

I vowed to find a better way. Over the next few years I studied and implemented every investment strategy out there. I found that most strategies promoted by real estate “experts” were linked with half truths and unrealistic expectations and outcomes. 

I went through a lot of trial and a good bit of error and sometimes lost money along the way. Was it worth it? Absolutely, because I have since perfected a better way to invest, which is exactly what I wish had been available to me when I first started investing.


It was clear with the changing marketplace that I needed to get aggressive trying techniques that I had read about and studied, such as lease-to-own, subject-to deals, and many other buy and hold principles to help achieve my goal of less hassle and greater cash flow.
